The device directs energy impulses into the germ cell of the hair and desolates it. Gradually hair growth is reduced, until in the best case no more hair grows back. Here we answer the most important questions about permanent hair removal:
Four weeks before the treatment you should refrain from UV radiation (solarium visits, sunbathing). You should also stop sugaring and waxing during the treatment and exceptionally go back to shaving. One day before the treatment the area of skin to be depilated has to be shaved thoroughly. If your intimate area is treated, we recommend to wear a loosely fitting cotton briefs. In this way you protect the sensitive skin area. Also after the treatment you should devote yourself to the protection and care of your skin. Do without after the treatment.
With the exception of grey and white hair, we can treat all skin and hair types, including very light hair and tanned skin. These possibilities open up because our hair dye, melanin, is no longer solely responsible for the success of the treatment.
Treatment during pregnancy and breast-feeding is not possible. If you take medication, please inform your beautician in advance. This may have to be discontinued after consultation with your doctor. Other possible contraindications are: skin inflammation, psoriasis, neurodermatitis, eczema, open skin, diabetes, communicable diseases, skin cancer, dark birthmarks and tattoos.
Our treatment is almost painless. Some guests only feel a slight prick. We always adjust the devices individually to each guest in order to ensure the most pleasant treatment possible.
The duration of treatment varies depending on the growth of the hair and the part of the body that is to be depilated. As a rule, we can achieve a satisfactory result after six to ten treatments, each of which should be spaced four to six weeks apart.
Your hair grows cyclically, so on the day of treatment we can only remove the body hairs that are directly under the skin surface at that time. Treatment by treatment we can achieve more hairs until in the best case none can grow back at all.
