We answer the most important questions about permanent hair removal:
Do without UV radiation four weeks before the treatment (solarium, sunbathing). During this time you should also refrain from sugaring and waxing; shaving is allowed. One day before the treatment the corresponding part of your body must be shaved thoroughly. If your intimate area is depilated, we recommend a loose cotton slip for the treatment day to protect the sensitive skin. Protect your skin also after the treatment by refusing UV radiation, sauna and extreme sports. Use a moisturiser and drink sufficient water.
With the exception of white and grey hair, we can treat any skin and hair type, including very light hair and tanned skin. This is because the hair dye, melanin, is not exclusively responsible for the success of the treatment.
The duration of the treatment depends on your hair growth and the area to be depilated. As a rule, we achieve a satisfactory result after six to ten treatments. There should be four to six weeks between each treatment.
Possible contraindications are: skin inflammation, psoriasis, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, open skin, diabetes, communicable diseases, skin cancer, dark birthmarks and tattoos. Treatment is not possible during pregnancy and lactation. If you are taking medication, it may be necessary to stop it after consultation with your doctor - it is best to inform your beautician in advance about your medication.
Your hair grows in cycles. During a treatment we only reach those hairs that are directly under the skin surface at that time. Treatment by treatment we reach more hairs so that ideally no hair grows back at all.
A few customers feel a slight prick, but we adjust the device individually to your hair growth and needs so that the treatment is as pleasant as possible and almost painless at all times.
