DSGVO). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
- Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, providing a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
- Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online services by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online service and to provide us with other services associated with the use of this online service and the Internet. Pseudonymous user profiles of users can be created from the processed data.
- We use Google Analytics to display ads placed by Google and its partners within our advertising services only to users who have expressed an interest in our online services or who have specific characteristics (e.g. interests in specific topics or products identified by the web pages they visit) which we transmit to Google (so-called "remarketing" or "Google Analytics Audiences"). We also use remarketing audiences to ensure that our ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not annoying.
- We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymization enabled, which means that the user's IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the European Economic Area Agreement. - Google / Marketing Service
- On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online services within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO), we use the marketing and remarketing services ("Google Marketing Services") of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, ("Google").
- Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, providing a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
- Google's marketing services allow us to display advertisements for and on our website in a more targeted manner in order to present users with ads that potentially match their interests, for example, if a user is shown ads for products they are interested in on other web pages, this is referred to as "remarketing", for which purpose when they visit our and other web pages on which Google marketing services are active, a Google code is executed directly by Google and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also referred to as "web beacons") are incorporated into the web page, with the help of which (re)marketing aids (invisible graphics or code, also referred to as "web beacons") are used to integrate the web page into the web page.
- User data is processed pseudonymously within the framework of Google Marketing Services, i.e. Google does not store and process the user's name or e-mail address, for example, but processes the relevant data cookie-related within pseudonymous user profiles, i.e. from Google's point of view, the advertisements are not managed and displayed for a specific identified person, but for the cookie holder, irrespective of who this cookie holder is. This does not apply if a user has expressly permitted Google to process the data without this pseudonymisation. The data provided by Google Marketing Services about Google Marketing Services about this pseudonymisation does not apply if a user has explicitly permitted Google to process the data without this pseudonymisation.
- One of the Google marketing services we use is the online advertising program "Google AdWords". In the case of Google AdWords, each AdWords customer receives a different "conversion cookie", so cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers learn the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and to one with a ConWords Conversion.
- We may use the Google marketing service "DoubleClick" to serve advertisements to third parties. DoubleClick uses cookies to enable Google and its partner sites to serve ads based on users' visits to this site or other sites on the Internet.
- We may use Google's AdSense marketing service to serve advertisements to third parties. AdSense uses cookies to enable Google and its partner sites to serve ads based on users' visits to this site or other sites on the Internet.
- We can also use the service "Google Optimizer". Google Optimizer allows us in the context of so-called "A/B-Testings" to track how various changes to a website (such as changes to input fields, the design, etc.). For these test purposes, cookies are stored on the devices of users. Only pseudonymous data of users are processed.
- We may also use the "Google Tag Manager" to integrate and manage the Google analytics and marketing services into our website.
- For more information about Google's use of data for marketing purposes, please see the overview page: https://policies.google.com/technologies/adsthe privacy policy of Google is available under https://policies.google.com/privacy can be retrieved.

- Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
- The Facebook pixel enables Facebook to determine the visitors of our online offer as the target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"), and accordingly we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products which are determined on the basis of the visited websites) which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook can determine the visitors of our online offer as the target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook ads").
- Furthermore, when using the Facebook pixel, we use the additional function "extended comparison" (here data such as telephone numbers, e-mail addresses or Facebook IDs of the user) to create target groups ("Custom Audiences" or "Look Alike Audiences") transmitted to Facebook (encrypted). Further information on "extended comparison": https://www.facebook.com/business/help/611774685654668).
- We also use the Facebook, Inc. social network's "Custom Audiences from File" process, in which the email addresses of newsletter recipients are uploaded to Facebook. The upload process is encrypted and is used solely to determine the recipients of our Facebook ads, ensuring that ads are only displayed to users who have an interest in our information and services.
- Facebook processes the data in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy and, accordingly, the Facebook Data Usage Policy contains general information about the presentation of Facebook Ads: https://www.facebook.com/policy.phpFor specific information and details about Facebook pixels and how they work, visit the Facebook help section: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.
- You may opt out of Facebook pixel collection and use of your information to display Facebook ads. To control what types of ads you see within Facebook, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there about the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=adsThe settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
- To prevent the collection of your data by means of the Facebook pixel on our website, please click the following button:
Note: If you click the button, an "opt-out" cookie will be stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will have to click the button again. Furthermore, the opt-out only applies within the browser you are using and only within our web domain on which the link was clicked. - You may refuse the use of cookies for range measurement and advertising purposes by selecting the appropriate settings on the Network Advertising Initiative deactivation page (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/) and additionally the US-American website (http://www.aboutads.info/choices) or the European website (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/), or you can contradict it.
- Facebook Social Plugins
- We use social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer in the sense of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO). The plugins can display interaction elements or content (e.g. videos, graphics or text contributions) and can be recognised by one of the Facebook logos (white): https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
- Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
- When a user calls up a function of this online service that contains such a plugin, his device establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. Facebook transmits the content of the plugin directly to the user's device and integrates it into the online service. User profiles can be created from the processed data. We therefore have no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform the user according to our state of knowledge.
- By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the online offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your device to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook can find out and store his IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Germany.
- The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as the related rights and setting options to protect the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
- If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him via this online service and link it to his Facebook stored member data, he must log out of Facebook before using our online service and delete his cookies. Further settings and contradictions to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or via the US-American side http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
- Newsletter
- With the following information we inform you about the contents of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation procedures and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you declare your agreement with the receipt and the described procedures.
- Content of the newsletter: We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with advertising information (hereinafter referred to as "newsletter") only with the consent of the recipient or a legal permission. If the contents of the newsletter are specifically described within the scope of registration, they are decisive for the consent of the user. In addition, our newsletters contain information on our products, offers, promotions and our company.
- Double-Opt-In and logging: The registration to our newsletter takes place in a so-called Double-Opt-In procedure, i.e. you receive an e-mail after the registration, in which you are asked for the confirmation of your registration. This confirmation is necessary, so that nobody can register with foreign e-mail addresses. The registrations to the newsletter are logged, in order to be able to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and the confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Likewise the changes of your data stored with the dispatch service provider are logged.
- Furthermore, according to its own information, the shipping service provider may use this data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without allocation to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimisation of the shipping and the presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes, in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, the shipping service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass them on to third parties.
- Registration data: In order to register for the newsletter, it is sufficient for you to enter your e-mail address. Optionally, we ask you to enter a name in the newsletter in order to address you personally.
- Success measurement - The newsletters contain a so-called "tracking pixel", i.e. a file the size of a pixel, which is retrieved from the server of the dispatch service provider when the newsletter is opened. Within the framework of this retrieval, technical information such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are first collected, and this information is used for the technical improvement of the services on the basis of the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the aid of the IP address) or access times. Statistical surveys include statistical surveys, i.e. a file the size of a pixel, which is retrieved from the server of the dispatch service provider when the newsletter is opened.
- The dispatch of the newsletter and the performance measurement are based on the consent of the recipients according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, Art. 7 DSGVO in conjunction with § 7 para. 2 no. 3 UWG or on the legal permission according to § 7 para. 3 UWG.
- The registration procedure is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and serves as proof of consent to receive the newsletter.
- Cancellation/revocation - You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. If users have only subscribed to the newsletter and cancelled this subscription, their personal data will be deleted.
- Data protection for applications and in the application process
- We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of processing the application procedure, which may also be processed electronically, in particular if an applicant submits the relevant application documents electronically, for example by e-mail or via a web form on the website, to the data controller. If the data controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the data transmitted will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in accordance with the statutory provisions. If the data controller does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the applications will be processed in accordance with the statutory provisions.
- Furthermore, we partly work with a service of Prescreen International GmbH for the online applicant management.

- Integration of third-party services and content
- Within our online offer, we use content or service offers from third parties on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) in order to integrate their content and services, e.g. videos or fonts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as "content"). This always presupposes that the third party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the user, as they could not send the content to their browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore necessary for the presentation of this content, because without the IP address they could not send the content to their browser.
- The data controller has integrated components of PayPal on this website. PayPal is an online payment service provider. Payments are processed via so-called PayPal accounts, which represent virtual private or business accounts. In addition, PayPal offers the option of processing virtual payments via credit cards if a user does not have a PayPal account. A PayPal account is managed via an e-mail address, which is why there is no classic account number. PayPal enables online payments to be made to third parties or also payments to be received.
