As you can see, there are many ways to get rid of pesky hairs. You have already decided on a treatment, but have never been to Senzera? Then you will find all of the information here that you need for your perfect first visit to one of our salons.

Are you still nervous and do you need more information or a recommendation?

If you are looking for an effortless way to get rid of your hair in the long term and without taking up a lot of time, permanent hair removal is the best method for you. After 6 - 10 sessions at intervals of approx. 6 weeks, worries about annoying hairs and stubble will be a thing of the past.

Do you want to remove your hair for a long time, but not yet for ever? Then waxing and sugaring are the perfect start.

Waxing and Sugaring, the Classics among Professional Hair Removal

In both waxing and sugaring, your hairs are removed from the root. This results in exceptionally soft skin without stubble for several weeks. And since you no longer need to shave every day, your skin is less stressed and feels healthier and more beautiful.

The more often and regularly you come, the longer the results last. At the start of the treatment, your hairs are still in different stages of the growth cycle, and have to adapt over the course of the treatments. It is therefore important that you don’t use any other hair removal methods between the treatments at intervals of 4-6 weeks.

hair growth

At the time of the first treatment, the growth cycles of your hairs are at different stages. The hairs are not all the same length under the skin.

After the first hair removal treatment, most of your hairs will have been removed with the root.

Success! After several treatments, the growth phases of your hairs have aligned and you can enjoy your smooth skin for longer.

In waxing, the wax is applied in the direction of hair growth and removed against the direction of the hair growth. It is the exact opposite for sugaring, with the result that fewer hairs break then with waxing. In addition, the sugar penetrates the hair canal and surrounds the hair deep in the root. This means that even shorter hairs can be removed than in waxing.

Less time is needed for waxing because you can apply and remove the wax over larger parts of the body. As a result, the unpleasant feeling is also over more quickly and waxing is therefore recommended especially for large areas, such as legs, men's backs and chests.

Sugaring is the gentle and, sometimes, more precise alternative to waxing. This method is therefore especially recommended for sensitive areas of the skin, such as the face, the underarms or the bikini area. In addition, the sugar paste is made up of 100% natural ingredients and is therefore also very suitable for people with allergies and sensitive skins.

We satisfy your wishes for permanently smooth skin.

Silky smooth skin and for a long time? A wish that we can satisfy. With permanent hair removal using SHR and Hyperpulse technology, the hair roots are changed by light pulses so that no new hairs grow back in the long term.

We are offering you permanent hair removal in ever more salons and in almost all of our towns and cities. An up-to-date list of all salons that offer permanent hair removal can be found here.

What type of hair is permanent hair removal suitable for?

Thanks to modern technology, which we use at Senzera, practically all skin and hair types can be treated. Only grey and white hairs cannot be treated because they don't contain any melanin.

Are there exclusion criteria for permanent hair removal?

In a free consultation, your expert will give you detailed information about the treatment, possible risks and contra-indications. On the basis of your medical history sheet we can ascertain whether there is a contra-indication. We only treat our clients when we are sure that there is no risk.

What are the differences between the machines?

Senzera works with the most modern machinery. The technology has developed and improved greatly over the last few years. We thoroughly and conscientiously train all users and carry out regular quality checks.

There are now countless machines available for you to use at home. For safety reasons, all machines for home use may emit only a fraction of the levels of the professional machines. This treatment is thus not as effective and the hair is only placed in a sort of dormant state. As soon as you stop the treatment, the hairs start to grow again. With our professional machines, which are also used in medicine, much higher energy levels are used to destroy the nucleus of the hair root. This means that the hair cannot grow any more

With our professional devices, which are also used in medicine, a much higher energy is used to destroy the germ cells in the hair root, so that the hair can no longer grow.
